Switch Audio Board USB Card Reader

This front-panel module provides a power switch, audio connectors and a USB card reader for HP Z2, Z4, Z6 and Z8 G4 workstations. It restores the original I/O layout when the factory board is damaged or missing. The part is supplied new and matches the chassis cut-outs of the listed models.

Straightforward replacement with alignment care

Installation requires opening the chassis, disconnecting the old board and routing the replacement cables to the motherboard headers. The main difficulty is seating the switch actuator correctly so the front button engages every press; misalignment causes intermittent power-on. Verify header pin-outs before closing the case.
