Questions about this item

What form factor does the PWS-865-PQ 865W power supply use for server mounting?

This unit follows a standard server power supply form factor designed to slide into compatible chassis bays and lock with the built-in retention latch.

Which step is most often missed when installing the PWS-865-PQ 865W unit?

Insert the supply fully until the latch clicks, then tighten the thumb-screw; skipping the screw leaves the unit loose and can break the power connection.

When should the internal fan of the PWS-865-PQ 865W supply be cleaned or replaced?

Clean the fan intake every six to twelve months in dusty environments; replace the fan assembly if bearing noise appears or airflow drops noticeably.
