SKU CH-F1NG-X1TSW

Gigabit single-mode optical module operating at 2.67 Gbps over 1310 nm wavelength for 15 km links

  • Gigabit single-mode connectivity for WTD systems
  • 67 G data rate supports high-speed links
  • 1310 nm wavelength enables 15 km reach
  • RTXM192-466 module designed for server power supplies

Optical module for WTD Gigabit networks

This single-mode optical module is built for WTD Gigabit links and suits administrators who need a direct replacement transceiver for 2.67G line-rate connections. It plugs into compatible switch or router ports and handles the optical-to-electrical conversion for long-haul fibre runs. The part is supplied new and ready for immediate deployment in data-centre or campus environments.

1310 nm wavelength with 15 km reach

The module operates at 1310 nm and is rated for up to 15 km over single-mode fibre, which is the decisive specification when planning link distance and loss budget. Verify that your WTD equipment lists the RTXM192-466 2.67G-1310NM-15KM as a supported transceiver before ordering.

Questions about this item

What does the 2.67G data rate mean when the module is installed in a switch?

The 2.67G rate is the line speed the transceiver uses on the fibre; the host port must support that exact rate or the link will not come up.

Which interface standard does the RTXM192-466 follow and what distance does it limit?

The module follows the WTD Gigabit single-mode specification and is rated for 15 km over 1310 nm fibre.
