Questions about this item

What Dell desktop models and wattage ratings is this 460w 500w power supply compatible with?

This unit is listed for Dell G5 5090 and 7070 systems and supports both 460 watt and 500 watt configurations for 9th generation Core i7 and i9 builds with GeForce 2070 or 2080 graphics.

What is the correct order for seating the power supply and reconnecting cables during installation?

Slide the supply into the chassis until the latch clicks, secure the retention screw, then attach the motherboard and GPU power cables; skipping the latch step leaves the unit loose and causes intermittent power.
