Replacement PSU for HP Z840

This 850 W server power supply is built for the HP Z840 workstation and matches part numbers DPS-850AB and 719799-002. It installs directly into the chassis without adapters and supplies the 12 V and standby rails the platform expects. Technicians repairing or refreshing a Z840 can use it as a drop-in replacement.

Steady output under continuous load

The unit is rated for sustained 850 W delivery and can handle the 1125 W peak demand that dual-processor configurations may draw during heavy compute tasks. Its server-grade design maintains stable voltages over long rendering or simulation runs. Builders needing redundant or higher-wattage units for multi-node clusters should look elsewhere.
