IBM FLEX replacement server power supply

This new server power supply from Supersuperuncle is built to match the IBM FLEX part numbers 00MY561, 00FG624, 68Y7030 and 00FL873. It serves administrators who need a direct replacement unit for compatible IBM rack or blade systems. The unit arrives new and ready for immediate installation in the target chassis.

Upgrades a failed or ageing original IBM FLEX module

The jump is worth it when the existing supply has failed, shows degraded output or when a spare is required for rapid swap in a production environment. It is not for builders who need a different form factor, a higher wattage rating or a supply for non-IBM hardware.

Questions about this item

What physical space does this power supply occupy in an IBM Flex chassis?

It uses the standard Flex form-factor slot, matching the 00MY561 and 00FL873 part numbers, so it slides directly into the existing bay without adapters.

What installation step is often missed when replacing an IBM Flex unit with this supply?

After seating the unit, the retaining lever must be fully latched until it clicks; otherwise the supply will not make firm contact with the backplane and the server will not power on.
