Server power supply for IBM X3755

This new server power supply is built to replace the original unit in an IBM X3755 system. It matches part numbers 39Y7380 and 39Y7379 and delivers a 1400 watt output for enterprise workloads. The unit is a direct fit for the DPS-1400AB A specification used in that platform.

Verify part number and chassis compatibility

Confirm that your IBM X3755 requires the 39Y7380 or 39Y7379 part number before ordering. The supply is not suitable for servers that use a different form factor, connector layout or wattage rating. Buyers who need redundant modules for a different chassis or a higher capacity unit should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the unit ship with all cables and mounting hardware needed for the IBM X3755, or must any accessory be purchased separately?

The power supply is sold as a standalone module; IBM X3755 systems use proprietary cabling and rack rails that are not included and must be sourced separately.

Should I select the 39Y7380 or the 39Y7379 part number for a 1400 W replacement in the X3755?

Both part numbers reference the same DPS-1400AB A unit rated at 1400 W; either will serve as a direct replacement for the IBM X3755.
