Questions about this item

Will the 57-1000027 module link with older Brocade switches that only have 10 G SFP+ ports?

Yes, the 57-1000027 is a 10 G SFP+ transceiver, so it fits the same SFP+ cages used by earlier Brocade switches.

How can I confirm the 57-1000027 is operating correctly after installation?

Check the switch port status for a solid link light and verify the RX power reading falls within the single-mode 10 km receiver sensitivity range.
