Sun T2000 450W Replacement Unit

This 450W power supply is built as a direct replacement for the Sun T2000 server platform. It matches the original 300-1817-03 and 300-2110-01 part numbers for exact fit and electrical compatibility. IT teams maintaining legacy Oracle or Sun hardware use it to restore redundant power capacity in production racks. The unit is new and ready for immediate deployment in supported chassis.

Thermals Noise and Power Behaviour

The supply delivers up to 450W of continuous output for the T2000 system under normal load. Internal fan speed scales with component temperature to maintain safe operating limits inside the server enclosure. Acoustic output remains consistent with standard server-room background noise when the chassis fans are active. Power draw at the wall tracks system demand without exceeding the rated maximum.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 450W power supply in a Sun T2000 server, and which step is often missed?

Slide the unit into the chassis until the latch clicks, then secure the retention screw; the step often missed is tightening that screw, which keeps the supply seated under vibration.

What maintenance will the Sun T2000 450W power supply need later?

Periodically vacuum dust from the intake vents and listen for fan bearing noise; if airflow drops or the fan whines, replace the entire 450W unit.
