Huawei E6000 blade DC power unit

This 1300 watt DC power supply is built for the Huawei E6000 blade chassis. It delivers 12 volt output to the backplane and fits the TPS1300-12D slot. The module is intended for data-centre operators who need a direct-replacement unit for existing E6000 infrastructure. Buyers who require an AC-input PSU or a different form factor should look elsewhere.

Normal-use thermals noise and power

The supply draws up to 1300 watts from the DC source when the blade enclosure is fully populated. Internal fans ramp with load to keep component temperatures within design limits. Acoustic output rises under heavy load but remains within typical server-room expectations. Efficiency at 12 volt output reduces waste heat compared with lower-voltage distribution.

Questions about this item

How is the TPS1300-12D installed in an E6000 blade chassis and what step is often missed?

Slide the unit into the correct DC power bay until the latch clicks, then tighten the captive retention screw; the screw is the step most installers forget.

What maintenance or replacement will the 1300W DC supply need over time?

Expect to clean the internal fan intake annually and replace the unit if output drops below 1300W or the fault LED stays lit.
