What they are and who they suit

The SuperTooth Buds 2 are true wireless earbuds with hybrid active noise cancellation rated at 48dB. They target listeners who want deep bass, clear treble and long battery life in a compact in-ear form. Dirac Opteo tuning shapes the 11mm driver output for precise instrument separation. The dark grey finish uses a matte and glossy mix with a transparent dial wrap on the case.

Build, controls and daily fit

Each bud weighs 30 grams and measures 4 by 6.5 by 2.8 centimetres. Touch surfaces handle playback, calls and mode changes without physical buttons. An IP55 rating protects against sweat and rain during workouts or commutes. The charging case supplies 55 hours of total playback and a 10-minute top-up adds 7.5 hours. In-ear detection pauses audio automatically when a bud is removed.

Limits of the Bluetooth 5.4 link

Bluetooth 5.4 carries audio and control signals, so range and stability depend on the source device and local interference. The 13.5-hour single-charge figure applies to typical listening volumes; louder levels or continuous ANC use will reduce it. Six microphones with AI voice processing improve call clarity, yet wind or very loud environments may still degrade pickup. Spatial audio relies on an HRTF algorithm rather than multi-driver hardware.

Questions about this item

What Bluetooth version do the SuperTooth Buds 2 use and what does it limit?

They use Bluetooth 5.4, which governs the wireless link stability and codec support between the earbuds and your phone or laptop.

What do the SuperTooth Buds 2 need to fit securely in the ear?

The in-ear design relies on the included silicone tips to seal the 11 mm driver port; choosing the correct tip size is essential for the 48 dB hybrid ANC to work properly.

How are the SuperTooth Buds 2 set up and which step is often missed?

Open the case near the device to trigger fast pairing, then run the in-ear detection calibration in the companion app — skipping this leaves auto-pause and ANC tuning inactive.
