SuperTooth DT629 Bluetooth 5.1 headset

The SuperTooth DT629 is an on-ear Bluetooth 5.1 headset designed for professionals who take calls on multiple devices. It pairs with two Bluetooth-enabled devices simultaneously and switches between them without re-pairing. A 330-degree rotatable microphone suits left or right ear wear. The package includes a dedicated charging base and a Type-C USB cable.

Check Bluetooth version and charging port

Your computer, phone or tablet must support Bluetooth audio profiles for calls and media. The headset uses Bluetooth 5.1, so older adapters may limit range or stability. You will need a free USB-A port for the charging base or a USB-C port for direct cable charging. Verify that your operating system recognises standard Bluetooth headsets without proprietary drivers.

Charging base and Type-C cable add flexibility

The charging base lets you dock the headset for storage and power without plugging a cable directly into the earcup. The included Type-C cable can charge the base or connect straight to the headset, giving two ways to reach the 180 mAh battery. A full charge takes two hours and delivers up to 12 hours of talk or music time and 160 hours of standby.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a charging cable separately?

The package includes the DT629 headset, a charging base, a USB Type‑C charging cable and a user manual. No extra cable is required.

Should I pick the model with 12‑hour playtime or the one with 15‑hour talk time?

Both figures refer to the same DT629 unit; 12 hours is the music playback rating and 15 hours is the talk‑time rating, so you get both in one headset.

How does the 33‑foot wireless range hold up at a desk?

Bluetooth 5.1 gives a 33‑foot (10‑metre) range, letting you move around the office while staying connected to calls or music.
