Noise-protection earbuds for loud workplaces

The SuperTooth HS-JY100-NR neckband earbuds deliver 27 dB NRR hearing protection for industrial and outdoor tasks. Silicone ear tips seal the ear canal against hazardous noise from power tools and machinery. Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity pairs with phones, tablets and Bluetooth transmitters up to 66 feet away. The flexible neckband stays secure during active movement.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

Passive noise isolation handles loud environments without active electronics that add heat or hiss. The 180 mAh lithium-polymer battery provides up to 20 hours of standby time and 15 hours of music or talk time. A full charge takes 2 hours via the included cable. The 16 ohm dynamic drivers draw minimal power for extended daily shifts.

Replaces standard earbuds and over-ear muffs

Workers who need both hearing protection and wireless audio can consolidate two devices into one neckband. The jump is worth it when OSHA-compliant noise reduction and hands-free calls are required simultaneously. Buyers who want active noise cancellation, water resistance or longer continuous playtime should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the ear tips so the 27 dB NRR actually works?

Insert the silicone tips deep enough to seal the ear canal; pull the earlobe up and back while pushing the tip in until outside noise drops sharply — a loose fit loses most of the rated attenuation.

Which parts wear out first and how often should I replace them?

The silicone ear tips degrade from sweat and skin oils; swap them every three to six months or whenever the flange tears or no longer springs back to seal properly.

At what point does the 180 mAh battery limit a full work shift?

Music time is rated at 15 hours; continuous playback at high volume will hit that limit before the 20-hour standby figure, so plan a recharge during a break for shifts longer than 15 hours.
