Replaces OEM 19-2028-892

This pack replaces the Unisys 19-2028-892 cartridge without changing the printer setup. The switch is worth it when a department wants to lower supply cost while keeping the same print reliability. Buyers who need colour options beyond black/red or who use non-Unisys hardware should look elsewhere.

Fits Existing Dot-Matrix Fleet

Each ribbon installs directly into the listed Unisys journal models, including the C643, C6460, S400, S4100 and S690 series. No driver updates or hardware modifications are required. The ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 manufacturing standards support consistent operation on 110 V U.S. machines.

Questions about this item

Which Unisys journal printers accept the 19-2028-892 ribbon cartridge?

The ribbon fits Unisys C643, C6453, C6460, S400, S4000, S4000-20, S4100, S4600, S600, S650, S690 and S696 journal models as well as Brandt 871-10 devices.

How do I install the ribbon so the black/red ink feeds correctly?

Open the printer cover, remove the old cartridge, align the new ribbon spools with the drive gears, thread the ribbon between the print head and platen, then close the cover and run a test print.

When should I replace the ribbon in a high-volume journal printer?

Replace the cartridge when print becomes faint or the red stripe stops appearing; the six-pack lets you keep spares on hand for continuous operation.
