Magnetic Toner Enables Secure Check Printing

The package contains two cartridges; no additional software or hardware is included.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and is a drum unit required separately?

The box contains two black MICR toner cartridges. No separate drum unit is needed because the drum is integrated into each cartridge.

How do I choose between the listed Ricoh part numbers?

All listed part numbers — 406989, 406523, 406990, 407646 and TYPE-SP3500XA — refer to the same two-pack MICR cartridge for the SP 3500 and SP 3510 series; pick the one that matches your printer's label.

What does the 6400-page yield mean for daily check printing?

At the standard 5 % coverage used for the 6400-page rating, a typical business check uses far less toner, so you will usually print more checks per cartridge than the rated figure.
