Compatible toner for InfoPrint 1120/1125

SuppliesMax 28P2492 is a new compatible black toner cartridge built to replace the IBM 28P2492. It fits InfoPrint 1120, 1120dn, 1120n, 1125, 1125dn and 1125n printers. The cartridge delivers up to 20000 pages at 5% coverage for high-volume office printing. Manufacturing follows ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards using new and recycled components.

Suits InfoPrint mono laser owners needing high yield

This cartridge suits businesses and home offices that run the listed InfoPrint mono lasers and want a lower-cost alternative to the OEM cartridge. It is not for colour printing, MICR encoding, or printers outside the 1120 and 1125 series. Buyers who need a different page yield or a cartridge for another model should look elsewhere.

20000-page yield at 5% coverage decides fit

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 20000-page yield at 5% coverage on the supported InfoPrint models. If your printer is not in the 1120 or 1125 family, this cartridge will not work. No other specification overrides this requirement.

Questions about this item

Which IBM InfoPrint printer models will this 28P2492 cartridge fit?

It fits the InfoPrint 1120, 1120n, 1120dn, 1125, 1125n and 1125dn laser printers.

Will it work in an older IBM InfoPrint 1120 that has been running on OEM 28P2491 cartridges?

Yes, the 28P2492 replaces the 28P2491, 28P2493 and 28P2494 part numbers, so the older printer will accept it.

How can I confirm the cartridge is delivering the rated 20000-page yield after I install it?

Print a test page at 5% coverage and verify crisp black text; then track the printer page counter — it should approach 20000 pages before toner runs low.
