SuppliesMax 39V2449 Black Toner Cartridge

This SuppliesMax 39V2449 black toner cartridge is an aftermarket replacement for the IBM InfoPrint 39V2449 and 39V3408 cartridges. It suits offices and home users who run compatible IBM InfoPrint Color 1834, 1846, 1854, 1856, or 1866 series printers and need high-volume black output. The cartridge is new and rated for approximately 12000 pages at .05 coverage.

Installation ease and common issues

The cartridge is designed for easy installation in supported 110V printers sold in the U.S. No special tools are required; simply remove the old unit and insert the replacement until it seats firmly. The most common issues arise when the cartridge is used in unsupported models or regions, which can cause recognition errors or print-quality faults. Manufacturing in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities helps minimise defects.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Confirm that your printer appears in the compatible list: IBM InfoPrint Color 1834, 1834DN, 1834DW, 1834N, 1846-MFP, 1854, 1854DN, 1854N, 1856-MFP, or 1866-MFP. Verify the machine operates on 110V power as sold in the U.S., because the cartridge is built for that voltage. Ensure you are replacing a black cartridge, not a colour unit, and that the original part number matches 39V2449 or 39V3408.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the 12000 page yield at 5% coverage is being met after installing the cartridge?

Track the page counter on your IBM InfoPrint printer; the cartridge is rated for 12000 pages at 5% coverage, so consistent output near that count confirms it is performing as specified.

What comes in the box and is anything else required to start printing?

The box contains one black high-yield toner cartridge (part 39V2449); no additional components are needed for installation in compatible IBM InfoPrint printers.

Which printers use the 39V2449 cartridge versus the 39V3408 equivalent?

Both part numbers fit the same models: IBM InfoPrint Color 1834, 1834DN, 1834DW, 1834N, 1846-MFP, 1854, 1854DN, 1854N, 1856-MFP and 1866-MFP.
