SuppliesMax Purple Printer Ribbon 6-Pack

This six-pack of purple printer ribbons is a compatible replacement for Okidata MICROLINE and ML series dot matrix printers. It fits models including the 420, 421, 490, 491, 720, 721, 790 and 791 families. The ribbons are built to match OEM specifications for sharp, professional output. They are ideal for businesses printing receipts, invoices and other high-volume documents.

Replaces Okidata 42377801P

The ribbons replace Okidata part numbers 42377801P, 52117001P, OKA011020P and 65240P. They also cross-reference Porelon 11568P, 11582P and 11982P, Clover CTGP1930P and CIGP1930P, and Innovera IVR42377801P. The upgrade is worth it when original ribbons are unavailable or cost-prohibitive. Users gain a ready supply of six cartridges to minimise downtime.

Consistent output during extended print runs

Premium materials provide excellent ink retention so print density stays even across long jobs. The ribbon mechanism feeds smoothly to reduce snags and misprints during continuous operation. Each cartridge delivers reliable performance from first page to last. Buyers who need colour output or single-cartridge purchases should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Which Okidata MICROLINE printers accept the 42377801P ribbon cartridge?

The cartridge fits MICROLINE 420, 420n, 421, 421n, 490, 490n, 491, 491n, 720, 721, 790 and 791 models, plus the equivalent ML-series variants.

How is the ribbon cartridge installed in the printer?

Open the printer cover, remove the old cartridge, insert the new cartridge until it clicks into the guide rails, then close the cover; the step often missed is seating the ribbon fully behind the print-head guide.

When will each purple ribbon need replacing?

Replace a ribbon when print becomes faint or uneven; the six-pack provides multiple changes for high-volume receipt and invoice printing.
