Purpose-built ribbon pack

SuppliesMAX 72726PR is a six-pack of purple/red dot-matrix ribbons built to match OEM specifications for a wide range of Olympia calculators and printers. It targets offices, retailers and service desks that need reliable two-colour output for receipts, invoices and high-volume business documents.

Ready-to-install cartridges

Each ribbon arrives as a complete cartridge, so users simply snap it into the machine without handling loose spools or ink. The multi-colour formulation delivers sharp black and red characters in a single pass, reducing the need to swap ribbons for different print tasks.

Mechanical impact limitation

Dot-matrix impact printing caps resolution at the pin density of the host device and cannot reproduce greyscale or photo-quality graphics. Ribbon life depends on the specific machine model and print intensity, so high-duty cycles will require more frequent changes than light use.

Questions about this item

How often will the 72726PR ribbon need replacing in a high-volume EC-5000?

Excellent ink retention minimises replacement frequency, but exact intervals depend on daily print volume and document density.

What limit appears first during continuous printing on an Olympia CM-1810?

The ribbon's ink capacity is the first constraint; prolonged runs will exhaust the multi-colour supply before any mechanical part wears.

Does the ribbon generate extra heat or noise when the EC-6000 runs all day?

The ribbon itself adds no heat or noise; only the printer's own mechanism contributes to operating temperature and sound levels.
