12000-page MICR toner for IBM InfoPrint 1422 series

This compatible cartridge replaces the IBM 75P6051-MICR and yields approximately 12000 pages at five percent coverage. Magnetic toner formulation meets banking standards for secure check and barcode printing. Designed for 110 V U.S. models of the IBM InfoPrint 1422, 1422D and 1422DN. Produced in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities using new and recycled components.

Drop-in replacement that keeps the printer

The cartridge installs directly into the supported IBM InfoPrint 1422 series printers without hardware changes. U.S. warranty law protects the machine warranty when using this compatible supply. Manufacturing to OEM specifications aims to deliver sharp output and reliable feeding for high-volume cheque runs. No additional hardware or firmware updates are required for installation.

Upgrade from standard black toner when MICR output

Standard toner cannot produce the magnetic signal banks read during cheque clearing; this cartridge adds that capability while matching the 12000-page yield of the OEM MICR unit. Not suitable for printers outside the listed IBM InfoPrint 1422 series or for non-MICR printing tasks where magnetic toner is unnecessary. Buyers needing colour output or higher page counts must select a different product.

Questions about this item

How many pages can I print before the 12000-page yield drops off under continuous use?

The cartridge is rated for 12000 pages at 5% coverage; sustained high-coverage printing will reduce the actual page count proportionally.

Does the cartridge run hot or draw extra power during all-day check printing?

It is engineered for 110V U.S. printers and meets OEM thermal and power specifications, so heat and power draw match the original cartridge.

Which printer models must I already own for this cartridge to work?

It fits IBM InfoPrint 1422, 1422D and 1422DN printers and replaces OEM part numbers 75P6049-MICR, 75P6050-MICR, 75P6051-MICR and 75P6052-MICR.
