SuppliesMAX MICR Toner Cartridge 17600 Pages

This SuppliesMAX MICR toner cartridge replaces Unisys part 83-9700-002 and yields approximately 17600 pages at .05 coverage. Magnetic toner formulation is engineered for secure check and barcode printing on supported Unisys laser printers. The cartridge is manufactured to OEM specifications in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities. It is a new compatible unit supplied in a single black cartridge pack.

Printer Compatibility and Voltage Check

Verify that the installed printer is a Unisys UDS-9712 UDS-9716 UDS-9718 or UDS-9724 model before ordering. The cartridge is designed for 110V U.S.-based printers so confirm the machine voltage matches this requirement. Cross-reference the existing OEM part numbers 81-9701-970-MICR or 81-9700-998-MICR to ensure correct fit. Using compatible toner will not void the printer manufacturer warranty under U.S. law.

Installation and Workflow Fit

The cartridge installs directly into the printer toner bay with no additional hardware or firmware steps required. Magnetic MICR output meets bank-compliant standards for cheque processing workflows. High page yield supports consistent high-volume print runs reducing the frequency of cartridge changes. The product frees procurement from sourcing OEM-only supplies while maintaining print quality and regulatory compliance.

Questions about this item

Does the box include only the cartridge or are drums or waste bottles included?

The pack contains one black MICR toner cartridge; no drum unit or waste container is supplied.

Is there a choice of standard-yield or high-yield versions for this part number?

Only the 17600-page yield version is offered for the 83-9700-002 model.

What does the 17600-page figure mean for daily check printing on a UDS-9716?

It is measured at .05 coverage; heavy MICR text or graphics will reduce the actual page count.
