Compatible Black Toner for Gestetner DSC Series

This SuppliesMax cartridge replaces the Gestetner Corp 888660 black toner and fits the DSC-520, DSC-525 and DSC-530 copiers and laser printers. It is a new aftermarket unit built to OEM specifications for use in supported 110V machines sold in the U.S.

20000 Pages at 5% Coverage

The cartridge yields approximately 20000 pages when printed at the standard .05 coverage rate, giving high-volume offices a long run between changes. Heavier graphics or solid black areas will reduce the actual page count below this rating.

OEM-Standard Build with Recycled Components

Manufactured using new and recycled parts to meet original equipment standards, the cartridge installs easily and delivers crisp black text with clear colour contrast. It is not a MICR toner, so it cannot be used for cheque printing or magnetic-read applications.

Questions about this item

Will the SuppliesMax 888660 toner work in my Gestetner DSC-520 alongside the original colour cartridges I already use?

Yes, this black cartridge is built to OEM specifications for the DSC-520, DSC-525 and DSC-530 series, so it will operate normally with the existing colour supplies in those machines.

How can I verify the cartridge is delivering the rated 20000-page yield at 5% coverage after I install it?

Monitor the printer's page counter; consistent crisp black output and no early low-toner warnings through roughly 20000 pages at standard 5% coverage indicate it is performing to spec.

Does the single-pack box include any drums, waste containers or installation tools, or must I buy them separately?

The package contains only the black toner cartridge; any required drum units, waste toner bottles or tools are separate items you already have or must source for your DSC-520, DSC-525 or DSC-530.
