Questions about this item

Does the A33K031 cartridge fit my Konica Minolta bizhub 454e or 554e without extra hardware?

Yes. The cartridge is a direct replacement for the OEM A33K031 and TN-513 units used in the bizhub 454e and 554e. It slides into the existing toner bay with no brackets, adapters or tools required.

What is the correct way to install the toner cartridge and which step do users often miss?

Open the front cover, pull out the old cartridge, gently rock the new A33K031 cartridge five to six times to distribute toner evenly, remove the sealing tape completely, then insert it until it clicks. The step most often missed is rocking the cartridge before removing the tape.

When will I need to replace the A33K031 cartridge and is there a separate drum unit to maintain?

Replace the cartridge after approximately 28000 pages at 5% coverage. The bizhub 454e and 554e use a separate drum unit (DR-513) that is not included with this toner; monitor print quality and replace the drum when the printer prompts or output degrades.
