Amano MJR-8000 compatible ribbon pack

This six-pack of purple ink ribbons is built as a direct replacement for the Amano C-872404P cartridge used in MJR-8000 series time clocks. It suits payroll offices, shift supervisors and small-business owners who need reliable, legible time stamps on cards or continuous forms. Each ribbon is manufactured in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities using new and recycled components to match OEM dimensions and ink formulation.

Upgrade from worn or faded OEM cartridges

When an existing ribbon produces light, uneven characters or the advance mechanism starts to skip, this compatible set restores sharp, professional output without changing the printer. The jump is worth it whenever a department runs multiple clocks and wants a single stock-keeping unit that works across every MJR-8000 unit on 110 V power. Buyers who need colour coding beyond purple or a ribbon for a different manufacturer’s clock will not be served by this pack.

Six ribbons for high-volume stamping

The pack supplies enough ink for thousands of time-card impressions, reducing the frequency of change-outs in busy environments. Excellent ink retention keeps each cartridge printing consistently until the ribbon is fully exhausted, so supervisors spend less time maintaining hardware. The supply runs out when the fabric is spent; there is no ink-level sensor to warn the operator in advance.

Questions about this item

Which Amano time clock models accept this C-872404P purple ribbon?

The ribbon fits the Amano MJR-8000 series and replaces OEM part numbers Amano C-872404P and Amano CAR-8000-PU.

How do I install the ribbon in an MJR-8000, and what step do people miss?

Open the printer cover, remove the old cartridge, insert the new ribbon so the purple ink faces the print head, then advance the ribbon manually one full turn before closing the cover to prevent jams.

When will I need to replace each ribbon in the six-pack?

Replace a ribbon when printed characters become faint or uneven; excellent ink retention extends life, but exact yield depends on print volume and density settings.
