Cyan Imaging Drum for HP Colour LaserJet Printers

The SuppliesMax CB385A cyan imaging drum is a new aftermarket replacement built to OEM specifications for HP Color LaserJet CM-6030, CM-6040 and CP-6015 series printers. It suits offices and home users who need reliable colour output without the cost of original HP drums. The unit is rated for 35000 pages at five percent coverage.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a passive imaging drum the unit has no moving parts, fans or power supply of its own. It operates within the printer's normal thermal envelope and adds no audible noise or electrical load beyond what the host device already draws from a 110V mains circuit.

Build quality and daily handling

Manufactured under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards using new and recycled components, the drum installs in seconds through the printer's front access panel. The package carries a 30-day manufacturer warranty. Buyers who need a black, magenta or yellow drum must purchase the corresponding colour units separately.

Questions about this item

How is the CB385A cyan imaging drum installed, and what step do people often miss?

Open the front cover, pull out the old drum by its handle, unpack the new unit, remove the orange protective clip and sealing tape, then slide it firmly into the cyan slot until it clicks.

What maintenance or replacement will the CB385A cyan imaging drum need later?

Replace the drum after approximately 35000 pages at 5% coverage; no separate cleaning or developer units are required for this cyan drum.

What limit appears first on the CB385A cyan imaging drum during sustained high-volume printing?

The 35000-page rated yield at 5% coverage is the first limit; print quality may fade once that threshold is reached.
