Compatible MICR toner for HP printers

The SuppliesMax CF283X-MICR cartridge replaces the HP CF283X-MICR original and works with LaserJet Pro MFP M125, M127, M201 and M225 series devices. It delivers magnetic toner formulated for bank-compliant check and barcode printing. Yield is rated at 1500 pages at five percent coverage. The unit is new and built to OEM specifications.

Drop-in installation with standard care

Installation follows the normal cartridge swap procedure for the listed HP and Troy MICR printers. No special tools or firmware steps are required. The most common issue is forgetting to remove the sealing tape before inserting the cartridge, which can cause blank pages. Ensure the printer model matches the compatibility list to avoid fitment errors.

Suits offices printing secure checks or barcodes

This cartridge targets businesses that need magnetic MICR output for cheque processing or barcode labels on supported HP and Troy devices. It is not suitable for users who only print standard documents and do not require MICR functionality. Buyers with printers outside the listed M125, M127, M201 and M225 families should look at something else.
