Compatible Black Toner 2-Pack

This SuppliesMax twin-pack replaces the Okidata 42918904 black cartridge in C9600 and C9800 series colour laser printers. Each unit is built from new and recycled components in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities. The cartridges are designed for 110 V machines sold in the U.S. and carry a 30-day manufacturer warranty.

Upgrade From OEM Cartridges

The set yields approximately 15000 pages at five per cent coverage, matching the rated output of the original Okidata 42918904 and 42918916 cartridges. It is a direct drop-in replacement for users who want equivalent page volume without purchasing OEM-branded supplies. Buyers who need higher-capacity cartridges or MICR toner for cheque printing will not find those options in this pack.

5 % Coverage Yield Standard

The quoted 15000-page figure assumes the industry-standard five per cent page coverage used for toner yield testing. Real-world page counts will drop when printing graphics, dense text or full-page colour documents that exceed that coverage level. The cartridges are not rated for any other duty-cycle metric or environmental specification.

Questions about this item

Which Okidata printers accept the TYPE C7 cartridge from this 2-pack?

The cartridges fit Okidata C9600, C9600DN, C9600HDN, C9600HDTN, C9600HN, C9600N, C9800, C9800DN, C9800HDN, C9800HDTN, C9800HN and C9800N models.

What is the correct way to install the cartridge so the printer recognises it?

Power the 110V printer off, open the front cover, pull the old black cartridge straight out, remove the orange seal strip from the new unit, shake it gently side-to-side, then slide it in until it clicks.

When will the black toner need replacing at the rated 5% coverage?

Each cartridge yields approximately 15000 pages at .05 coverage, so plan a replacement after that volume per unit.
