Magnetic check-printing cartridge

This SuppliesMAX MICR toner cartridge replaces the Dell 2JHY2830-MICR and is built for businesses that print cheques and barcodes. It requires a MICR drum unit to function and works in supported 110V U.S.-based Dell S2830 and S2830DN printers. The magnetic formulation meets banking standards for secure document processing.

20000 pages at 5% coverage

The two-pack delivers up to 20000 pages per cartridge at .05 coverage, providing headroom for consistent high-volume cheque runs. Yield drops when coverage exceeds the standard test density, so heavy graphics or dense text will reduce the total output. It is not suited for low-volume or occasional printing where cartridges may sit idle.

Two-cartridge pack for continuous supply

The bundle includes two black MICR cartridges so a spare is on hand when the first empties, reducing downtime during critical payment cycles. No drum unit, software or additional hardware is included; the separate MICR drum must already be installed. Buyers needing colour output or standard non-MICR toner cannot use this product.

Questions about this item

Will this cartridge work in my Dell S2830DN if I keep the existing drum unit?

How do I confirm the toner is printing valid MICR output after installation?

Print a test check and verify the magnetic ink line at the bottom is sharp, dark and readable by a MICR scanner.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The pack includes two black MICR toner cartridges; a MICR drum unit is required and sold separately.
