Yield and Coverage

The cartridge yields up to 15000 pages measured at 5% coverage, providing consistent high-volume printing. Manufacturing follows ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified processes using new and recycled components. The product carries a 30-day manufacturer warranty. Packaging may vary without affecting quality or performance.

Build Fit and OEM Equivalents

This toner replaces OEM part numbers Lanier 400942, 407000 and 400943, freeing you from sourcing the original brand. It is not a MICR toner, so it does not meet magnetic-ink character-recognition requirements for cheque printing. Buyers who need colour output or MICR capability should select a different cartridge.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SuppliesMax 400942 toner cartridge in my Lanier LP-128, and what step is often missed?

Open the front cover, remove the old cartridge, gently rock the new cartridge five or six times to distribute toner evenly, pull the sealing tape straight out, then insert the cartridge until it clicks; the rocking step is frequently skipped and can cause light prints.

What maintenance or replacement will the SuppliesMax 400942 need after the toner runs out?

The cartridge is a single-unit black toner rated for 15000 pages at 5% coverage; once empty you replace the whole cartridge — no separate drum or developer unit is required for the listed Lanier and Ricoh models.

At what point does print quality degrade during a long print run with the SuppliesMax 400942?

Quality remains consistent up to the rated 15000 pages at 5% coverage; beyond that yield toner depletion causes fading or streaking, which is the first limit you will see under sustained high-volume printing.
