Compatible drum unit for Brother DR-400

The SuppliesMax DR-400 drum unit is a new aftermarket replacement rated for 20000 pages at five percent coverage. It fits a wide range of Brother laser printers and multifunction machines including the HL-1230, HL-1470, MFC-8500 and FAX-4750 series. The unit is built for 110V devices sold in the U.S. and delivers crisp black output for everyday business and personal printing.

Simple front-access installation

The drum slides into the front of the printer without tools, matching the original DR-400 form factor. Most issues arise when the printer does not automatically recognise the new unit; the drum counter usually needs a manual reset through the control panel. If print quality looks faint after fitting, reseat the drum and run the cleaning cycle once.

Suits high-volume mono offices.

This drum is intended for users who print thousands of black-and-white pages on the compatible Brother hardware listed above. It will not work in colour laser printers, inkjet models or any Brother machine not shown in the compatibility list. Buyers needing colour output or a different page-yield rating should look at other supplies.
