Compatible Drum Unit for Brother Printers

The SuppliesMAX DR-730 two-pack replaces Brother drum units across a long list of DCP, HL and MFC models including the 2510, 2530, 2550, 2310, 2350, 2370, 2375, 2390, 2395, 2690, 2710, 2730 and 2750 series. Each unit is rated for 12000 pages at 5% coverage and is built to OEM specifications for crisp black output in everyday business and personal printing. The pack suits offices and home users who want a direct replacement without changing their existing workflow.

Straightforward Installation and Common Pitfalls

The drum unit slides into the printer the same way as the original Brother part, so no tools or firmware updates are required. Problems usually arise when the protective seal is not fully removed or when the unit is forced into a model that is not on the compatibility list. Ensure the printer is powered on 110V mains and that the correct toner cartridge is already seated before inserting the new drum.

Page-Yield Limits and Voltage Constraint

The 12000-page rating is based on the industry-standard 5% coverage test; heavy graphics or dense text will reduce actual yield proportionally. The units are designed for 110V printers sold in the U.S., so they are not guaranteed for machines operating on other mains voltages. Colour printing is not supported because the drum is black-only, and MICR encoding is not available on this model.
