What this drum unit fits

The SuppliesMax DR-730 drum unit is a new aftermarket replacement rated for 12000 pages at 5% coverage. It works with a wide range of Brother monochrome printers and multifunction devices including DCP-L2510D, DCP-L2550DW, HL-L2350DW, HL-L2370DW, HL-L2395DW, MFC-L2710DW and MFC-L2750DW models. The unit ships ready for use in 110V machines sold in the U.S.

Check your printer model first

Before ordering, verify that your Brother printer appears in the supported model list such as DCP-L2530DW, HL-L2310D, HL-L2375DW, MFC-L2690DW or MFC-L2730DW. This drum unit replaces OEM part numbers DR-730, DR-2400 and DR-2425 as well as several third-party equivalents. It is not suitable for printers outside the listed series or for colour printing requirements.

Thermal and power behaviour in daily use

The drum unit operates within the normal thermal envelope of the compatible Brother printers and draws power only when the printer is actively imaging pages. No additional cooling or separate power supply is required beyond the printer's standard 110V connection. Acoustic output is determined by the host printer mechanism rather than the drum unit itself.

Questions about this item

Does the DR-730 drum unit ship with a toner cartridge or must that be purchased separately?

The DR-730 is a drum unit only; a separate toner cartridge is required for printing.

Which printers accept this DR-730 drum unit and how do I know it fits mine?

It replaces Brother DR-730, DR-2400 and DR-2425 and fits the DCP-L2510D, DCP-L2530DW, DCP-L2550DN, HL-L2310D, HL-L2350DW, HL-L2370DW, HL-L2395DW, MFC-L2710DW, MFC-L2730DW, MFC-L2750DW and other listed models.

What does the 12000-page yield mean for everyday printing at 5% coverage?

At the standard 5% page coverage the drum is rated for up to 12000 pages; heavier graphics or dense text will reduce the actual count.
