Compatible drum unit for e-STUDIO 270P and 300P

This SuppliesMAX drum unit replaces Toshiba part 12A8570 in the e-STUDIO 270P and 300P series. It is built for offices and individuals who need a drop-in black cartridge for high-volume laser printing without changing workflow. The unit installs in supported 110V printers sold in the U.S. and meets OEM fit requirements.

Sustained output over 30000 pages at 5% coverage

The drum is rated for 30000 pages at .05 coverage, so it maintains crisp black output and clear contrast across long print runs rather than only in short bursts. Components are manufactured in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities using new and recycled parts to keep quality steady from the first page to the last. Consistent density reduces reprints and downtime during heavy daily use.

30000-page yield at 5% coverage decides fit

The single figure that determines whether this is the right part is the 30000-page yield at .05 coverage; buyers who need a higher or lower duty cycle should look elsewhere. Compatibility is limited to the listed e-STUDIO models and equivalent OEM numbers 12A8570 and 12A8302. It is not for colour printing, MICR applications, or machines outside the specified series.

Questions about this item

Does the 30000 page drum unit add noticeable noise or heat when the e-STUDIO 270P runs all day?

The drum is a passive imaging component; it does not draw power or generate heat, so continuous printing adds no extra noise or temperature beyond the printer's own operation.

What toner cartridge must I already own for this 12A8570 drum to produce pages?

You need a compatible black toner cartridge for the Toshiba e-STUDIO 270P or 300P series; the drum itself contains no toner and will not print without it.

Will this 12A8570 drum work in an older Toshiba printer that used the 12A8302 part number?

Yes, the drum replaces both the 12A8570 and 12A8302 OEM numbers, so it fits the same e-STUDIO 270P and 300P models that originally used either part.
