SuppliesMax Epson T774120D-BCS Dye Ink Bottle

This four-bottle set contains dye-based black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink for Epson EcoTank and WorkForce printers. It is designed for home and small-office users who refill integrated tanks rather than swap cartridges. The pack replaces OEM part numbers T774120D-BCS, T774DMP and T774DBCMY. Each colour bottle is keyed to its tank to prevent cross-contamination.

Installation and common issues

Refilling is straightforward: open the tank cap, align the bottle nozzle and squeeze gently until the tank reaches the upper line. The keyed nozzles only fit the matching colour port, so mis-fills are rare. Problems usually appear when the printer sits unused for weeks; dye ink can dry in the print head and require several cleaning cycles. Air bubbles trapped during a hurried fill may cause temporary banding until they clear.

Practical limits of the ink system

The quoted yield of 6500 pages assumes 5% coverage per page; full-page photos or dense graphics will reduce that figure significantly. Dye formulations produce vivid colours on plain and coated paper but are less water-resistant and fade faster than pigment inks under direct light. The bottles are formulated for 110V U.S.-region EcoTank models; printers sold for other voltages or regions may not recognise the ink.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the SuppliesMAX T774120D-BCS combo pack is printing correctly after refilling my EcoTank ET-3600?

Print a nozzle-check pattern from the printer maintenance menu; all grid lines for black, cyan, magenta and yellow should appear solid without gaps, confirming proper ink flow and colour registration.

What does the SuppliesMAX T774120D-BCS combo pack contain and is any extra hardware required?

The box includes one 6000-page black bottle (T774120D) and one 70 ml bottle each of cyan, magenta and yellow rated at 6500 pages; no additional tools or cartridges are needed for EcoTank refill.

Should I choose the 664-series or 774-series bottles for my WorkForce ET-4550?

Use the 774-series bottles in this pack (T774120D-BCS); they are the direct replacement for the 664220/664320/664420 codes and match the ET-4550 ink system.
