Compatible Epson ERC-23BR ribbon pack

This six-pack of SuppliesMAX black/red ink ribbons replaces the Epson ERC-23BR cartridge. It fits a wide range of Epson point-of-sale printers including the TM-U260, TM-270, M250, M260, M265, M280 and TM-300 series. The ribbons are built to match OEM specifications for sharp, professional output on receipts and invoices. They suit businesses that need reliable, high-volume printing at a lower cost than branded cartridges.

Impact printer interface limits

These ribbons operate only in dot-matrix and impact printers that accept the ERC-23BR form factor. They cannot be used in thermal-direct, inkjet or laser devices because those technologies do not use a fabric ribbon cartridge. The black/red two-colour print requires a printer mechanism equipped with a dual-colour ribbon lift; single-colour models will only produce black output. Compatibility is limited to the specific Epson, Bixolon, Canon, Fujitsu, Micros and other models listed in the machine compatibility data.

Six-ribbon capacity for high-volume use

Each pack contains six ribbons, providing extended headroom for busy retail, hospitality or kitchen environments. The manufacturer notes excellent ink retention to minimise replacement frequency during continuous operation. When print quality fades or the ribbon exhausts its ink supply, a fresh cartridge from the pack restores output immediately. Buyers who need single-colour black ribbons or thermal paper rolls will not be served by this two-colour impact ribbon set.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 6-pack or a single ribbon for my Epson TM-270?

The 6-pack supplies six black/red ERC-23BR ribbons, giving you spares for high-volume receipt printing on the TM-270 and reducing reorder frequency.

What does the black/red dual-colour ribbon actually do on a POS printer?

It prints standard text in black and highlights such as voids or totals in red on the same receipt, using one cartridge in the TM-270 or TM-U260.

Does the ERC-23BR interface limit which Epson models I can use it with?

The ribbon fits the mechanical ERC-23BR slot used by the TM-267, TM-270, TM-U260, M250–M280 series and many compatible POS printers listed.
