Compatible ERC-40B Ribbon Pack

This five-pack of SuppliesMax black ink ribbons replaces the Epson ERC-40B and ERC-22B cartridges. It fits a wide range of point-of-sale printers from Casio, Olivetti, Verifone, Norand and other brands listed in the compatibility data. The ribbons are built to match OEM dimensions and print quality for receipts and invoices. Businesses running high-volume POS stations can keep spares on hand to avoid downtime.

Snap-In Installation

Each ribbon cartridge drops into the printer's existing holder without tools or cable routing. The plastic frame aligns with the original guide rails so the ribbon feeds straight from the spool. The most common issue is forgetting to remove the protective seal or tension tab before closing the cover, which causes blank lines on the first few receipts. A quick visual check of the feed path prevents that problem.

Consistent Output Over Long Shifts

The ink formulation resists drying during idle periods and maintains density through continuous printing cycles. Retail and hospitality environments see steady, legible text on multi-part forms without the fading that appears on cheaper refills after a few hundred transactions. The ribbon holds enough ink for extended runs, reducing the frequency of swap-outs during peak hours. Performance stays uniform from the first print to the last.
