SuppliesMax Yellow Toner for IM-C Series

The SuppliesMax GST842280 is a new compatible yellow toner cartridge built to replace Gestetner Corp 842280. It suits offices running IM-C4500, IM-C5500, IM-C5500A or IM-C6000 colour laser printers that need a high-yield supply for everyday document production. The cartridge is manufactured in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities using new and recycled components.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This cartridge fits users who print mainly on supported 110 V Gestetner machines sold in the U.S. and want a lower-cost alternative to the OEM unit. It is not for buyers who need MICR toner, who operate printers outside the listed IM-C series, or who require a multi-pack bundle for a fleet of different models.

Capacity and headroom

Rated at 22500 pages at 5 % coverage, the cartridge handles high-volume colour workloads such as reports, presentations and marketing handouts. Heavy graphics or full-page photos will consume toner faster and reduce the practical yield below the rated figure. The 30-day manufacturer warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.

Questions about this item

Which printer models must I already own for the GST842280 cartridge to fit?

It fits Gestetner Corp IM-C4500, IM-C5500, IM-C5500A and IM-C6000 series printers that use OEM part 842280 or 842284.

Will the cartridge work if I keep an older Gestetner Corp printer that takes the same 842280 part?

Yes, any machine listed as compatible with OEM 842280 or 842284 will accept this cartridge and yield up to 22500 pages at .05 coverage.

How can I confirm the cartridge is performing correctly after I install it?

Print a test page; the yellow output should be crisp with clear colour contrast and the printer should report normal toner levels for a 22500-page yield cartridge.
