Compatible Black Toner Cartridge GST85460

It fits DSC-428, DSC-435 and DSC-445 copiers and is manufactured in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities using new and recycled components. Who This Suits and Who Should Look Elsewhere

Offices running the listed Gestetner models that need high-volume black output at a lower cost than OEM supplies. Buyers with printers outside the DSC-428, DSC-435, DSC-445 series or those requiring MICR toner for cheque printing cannot use this cartridge. It is a single black unit, so colour printing needs are not met.

Deciding Specification — Page Yield at 5% Coverage

The 24000 page yield at .05 coverage is the figure that determines whether this cartridge matches your print volume. If your typical jobs exceed this coverage or your monthly output far surpasses the rated yield, you will replace cartridges more often than expected. Confirm your device model against the compatible list before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will this cartridge work in a Gestetner DSC-428 that already has a colour unit installed?

Yes, the cartridge is listed as compatible with the DSC-428, DSC-435 and DSC-445 series, so it fits alongside existing colour units in those models.

How can I confirm the cartridge is printing correctly after installation?

Print a test page; you should see crisp black output with clear contrast at the rated 5% coverage, matching the 24000-page yield specification.

Does the box include a drum unit or waste container, or must they be bought separately?
