Product Identity

The SuppliesMax GSTB070-9510 is a compatible OPC drum cartridge in black for Gestetner Corp printers. It fits models including the 5502, 6002, 7502, 8502, 9002 and DSM series devices. The unit is manufactured to OEM standards in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities using new and recycled components. It is designed for 110V machines sold in the U.S. market.

Operational Characteristics

As a photoconductive drum component, this item does not draw power, generate heat or produce noise independently. Its performance depends entirely on the host printer's engine and fuser system. The cartridge contains no toner and carries a coverage reference of .05 for yield calculations. Normal use simply requires correct installation into the designated drum cavity.

Accessory Impact

The package supplies only the OPC drum cylinder, not a complete drum unit with developer or charge rollers. No chips, cleaning blades or waste containers are bundled. Installation replaces the worn drum surface to restore sharp black output and colour contrast. A 30 day manufacturer warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SuppliesMax GSTB070-9510 OPC drum into my Gestetner 5502 and what step is often missed?

Remove the old drum unit, slide the new OPC cylinder into the existing frame until it clicks, then reinstall the complete unit — many users forget to reset the drum counter via the machine menu.

What part of the SuppliesMax GSTB070-9510 will need replacement after extended use?

The OPC drum surface itself wears with each rotation; when print quality fades or streaks appear, replace the cylinder again — the developer roller and cleaning blade are not included in this drum-only kit.

What limit appears first when running the SuppliesMax GSTB070-9510 continuously in a Gestetner 7502?

The photoconductor coating degrades under sustained high-volume printing, causing background toner scatter before the mechanical gears or drive coupling show wear.
