This two-pack drum unit replaces the Gestetner D244-2250K_2PK in MP-C2004, MP-C2004EX, MP-C2504, MP-C2504EX and MP-C2504SP printers. Each unit yields up to 60000 pages at .05 coverage for high-volume black printing. The product is new and built to OEM standards using new and recycled components in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities.

60000-Page Yield at 5% Coverage

The rated yield supports extended print runs without frequent replacement, reducing downtime in busy offices. Manufacturing to OEM specifications aims to deliver crisp black output and clear color contrast across the drum life. Use of compatible units does not void the printer manufacturer warranty.

Designed for 110V U.S. Models

Installation follows the standard drum replacement procedure for the listed Gestetner models; no special tools are required. Ensure the printer is a 110V unit sold in the U.S., as the drum is designed for that voltage. Buyers with 220V or non-U.S. regional models cannot use this unit.

Questions about this item

When will the 60000-page black drum unit need to be replaced?

Replace the drum unit after approximately 60000 pages at 5% coverage. The two-pack provides a spare for continuous printing on compatible Gestetner MP-C series models.

What limits sustained printing on the GSTD244-2250K_2PK?

The rated yield of 60000 pages at .05 coverage is the primary limit; exceeding this coverage or volume will require drum replacement sooner.

How much heat or noise does the drum unit produce during all-day printing?

The drum unit is a passive component with no motor or fan; it adds no measurable heat or noise beyond the printer's normal operation.
