Compatible HP LaserJet Maintenance Kit

This SuppliesMAX maintenance kit replaces the HP H3980-60001 for LaserJet 2400, 2410, 2420 and 2430 series printers. It contains a 110V fuser unit, transfer roller, pickup rollers and separation pad assembled to OEM specifications. The kit is rated for 100000 pages at 5% coverage.

Replaces Worn Fuser and Feed Components

Install this kit when print quality fades, paper jams increase or the printer prompts for maintenance after 100000 pages. It restores the original paper path and fusing performance without replacing the entire printer. The jump is worth it when the device is otherwise reliable but shows roller wear or fuser streaks.

Straightforward User Installation

The components snap into the printer without tools following the standard maintenance procedure. Common issues include forgetting to reset the maintenance counter, which leaves the warning active, and misaligning the fuser unit, which causes creasing or jams. Ensure the printer is cooled and powered off before starting.

Questions about this item

Does this 110V maintenance kit include the fuser unit RM1-1535 and transfer roller RM1-6321-000CN for my HP LaserJet 2420?

Yes, the kit contains a 110V fuser unit (RM1-1535), transfer roller (RM1-6321-000CN), MP pickup roller (RL1-2412-000CN), paper pickup roller assembly (RL1-0540), and tray separation pad assembly (RM1-1298).

What is the correct order to install the fuser unit and rollers during a 100000-page maintenance cycle?

Power off and cool the printer, remove the old fuser unit, install the new 110V fuser, then replace the transfer roller, both pickup rollers, and the separation pad before resetting the maintenance counter.

Which components in this kit will need replacement again after another 100000 pages?

All five items — the 110V fuser unit, transfer roller, MP pickup roller, paper pickup roller assembly, and tray separation pad — are rated for the same 100000-page yield and should be replaced together.
