Compatible POS Ribbon 6-Pack

This SuppliesMax purple ribbon pack contains six ink ribbons built to match OEM specifications for the IBM InfoPrint 84F6708 part number. The ribbons are designed for point-of-sale printers and deliver sharp output for receipts and invoices. The pack is manufactured in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities using new and recycled components. Each ribbon offers excellent ink retention to reduce replacement frequency.

Fits IBM 4651, 4655, 4661 and Listed Models

The ribbons work with IBM 4651, 4655 and 4661 series printers plus compatible machines from IPC, Krone, Wincor Nixdorf, Pertech and Uniwell kitchen printers. Shops running those models can rely on consistent, professional printing for high-volume transactions. Businesses using printers not named in the compatibility list or operating on 110 V power outside the USA should verify fit before buying. The manufacturer provides a 30 day warranty on the product.

Replaces IBM 84F6708 Part Number

The single specification that decides fit is the OEM part number IBM 84F6708 which this six pack replaces directly. If the printer requires that exact part number the ribbons will install and perform to OEM standards. If the machine calls for a different ribbon part number this pack will not work.

Questions about this item

How many ribbons are in this pack and which printers will they fit?

The pack contains six purple ribbons. They are built for the IBM 4651, 4655 and 4661 series and also work with the IPC M173iP-PRT 267, IPC MPS-328, IPC PRT 267-081, IPC PRT 270, Krone EFT Printer, Wincor Nixdorf ND-62, Pertech 5351, 5354, 5371, 5374, Uniwell TP-420, TP-522 and TP-722.

What does the OEM part number 84F6708 tell me about print quality on a real register?

It means the ribbon matches the original IBM InfoPrint 84F6708 specification, so receipts, invoices and kitchen tickets come out sharp and consistent through high-volume shifts.

The ribbon is made in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 facilities — what does that cap in practice?

Those certifications cover the manufacturing process, not the ribbon itself. In practice the ribbon is designed for 110 V machines sold in the U.S. and using it will not void the printer manufacturer’s warranty.
