SuppliesMax LAN480-0011 toner for Lanier 5040MFD

This SuppliesMax LAN480-0011 cartridge is a compatible replacement for the Lanier 480-0011 toner used in Lanier 5040 and 5040MFD machines. It delivers up to 20000 pages at .05 coverage for high-volume monochrome printing. The unit weighs 700 grams and is built in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities. It is designed for 110V printers sold in the U.S. and carries a 30-day manufacturer warranty.

Installing the LAN480-0011 cartridge

Installation follows the standard procedure for the Lanier 5040 series: open the front cover, remove the old unit, shake the new cartridge gently, and insert it until it clicks. Common issues include forgetting to remove the sealing tape, which prevents toner flow, or seating the cartridge incompletely, which causes error messages. Ensure the printer is powered on during replacement so the machine can reset its toner counter correctly.

Verify your Lanier model and voltage before ordering

Confirm your device is a Lanier 5040 or 5040MFD; this cartridge does not fit other Lanier models such as the 5040ex or 5040w. Check that the machine operates on 110V power, as the cartridge is designed for U.S.-market printers. Cross-reference the OEM part numbers 480-0011, 885144, 885104, and 889611 to ensure exact compatibility. Buyers needing colour output or a higher page yield should consider a different product line.
