Compatible MICR Cartridge for Lanier AC-230N

This SuppliesMAX toner cartridge replaces Lanier 402888-MICR and equivalent OEM part numbers 402887, 407162, 407172 and 863200. It delivers magnetic black toner for secure check and barcode printing on the Lanier AC-230N laser printer. The unit is manufactured to OEM specifications in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities. It yields approximately 8000 pages at .05 coverage.

For high-volume check printing on supported U.S.

Offices that require bank-compliant MICR output on the Lanier AC-230N will find this cartridge suited to consistent, high-volume workloads. It is designed for 110V U.S.-based printers and is not intended for machines operating on other voltages or for standard non-MICR document printing. Buyers needing colour output or a different page yield should look at alternative supplies.

Drop-in replacement with standard installation

The cartridge installs like the original Lanier unit; no special tools or firmware steps are required. Common issues include forgetting to remove the sealing tape before insertion, which prevents toner flow, and installing the cartridge in a non-compatible printer model, which causes recognition errors. Ensure the printer is powered on and the correct part number matches the device.
