MICR Imaging Drum for Secure Check Printing

The SuppliesMax LEX56F0ZA0-MICR is a compatible imaging drum unit engineered for magnetic ink character recognition. It serves businesses that print cheques or barcodes requiring bank-compliant output. The unit replaces the Lexmark 56F0ZA0-MICR and fits a wide range of Lexmark monochrome printers and multifunction devices listed in the compatibility data.

Sustained High-Volume Performance

Rated for 60000 pages at 0.05 coverage, the drum maintains consistent magnetic toner density over long print runs. It is designed for continuous operation in 110V U.S.-based printers without degradation in MICR signal quality. The unit must be paired with a MICR toner cartridge to function correctly.

OEM-Spec Build for Reliable Installation

Manufactured to original equipment specifications, the drum unit installs directly into supported Lexmark models including the MS-321, MS-421, MS-521, MS-621, MS-622, MX-321, MX-421, MX-521, MX-522, MX-622, XM-1242, XM-1246, XM-3250 and XM-3252 series. The precise mechanical fit reduces misfeeds and service calls. Buyers who need a drum for non-MICR applications or printers outside the listed series cannot use this unit.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 110 V imaging drum draw during continuous printing?

The drum is a passive imaging component; power consumption is determined by the printer itself, which runs on 110 V.

What additional supply must I already have for this drum to function?

A MICR toner cartridge is required; the drum will not print without it.

Will this drum work in my older Lexmark MS-321DN that I plan to keep?

Yes, the drum is listed as compatible with the MS-321DN and the full MS/MX/XM series shown.
