Questions about this item

How do I install the SuppliesMax 24035SA-MICR cartridge in my Lexmark E240, and what step do people often miss?

Open the front cover, pull out the old cartridge by its handle, shake the new cartridge gently five or six times to distribute the magnetic toner, remove the sealing tape completely, then slide it in until it clicks; the step most often missed is shaking the cartridge before installation.

What part of the SuppliesMax 24035SA-MICR will need replacement after the 6000-page yield is reached?

The entire cartridge is a single unit; once the magnetic toner is depleted at roughly 6000 pages at five percent coverage, you replace the whole cartridge — there is no separate drum or developer unit to service.

What print-quality limit appears first when running long batches of MICR checks on this cartridge?

Magnetic signal strength can fade before the 6000-page rating if coverage consistently exceeds five percent, causing bank-reader rejects even though toner still remains in the hopper.
