Compatible Drum for Lexmark C930 Series

The SuppliesMAX magenta drum unit replaces the Lexmark C930X73MG and C930X83MG originals. It fits Lexmark C930, C935 and X940e/X945e colour laser printers. Offices and home users who print high volumes on these machines get a new aftermarket drum rated for 53000 pages at 5% coverage. The unit is built in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities using new and recycled components.

Thermal Noise and Power in Normal Use

As a passive imaging component the drum generates no heat, draws no power and produces no noise of its own. It operates within the printer’s standard 110V electrical environment. Print quality and mechanical reliability depend on the host printer’s own thermal management and duty cycle.

Build Fit and What It Frees Up

Installation follows the printer’s standard drum-replacement procedure and requires no extra tools, firmware updates or cabling. The single-pack unit occupies the magenta drum slot, leaving the cyan, yellow and black positions unchanged. Using a compatible drum does not affect the printer manufacturer’s warranty under U.S. law. Buyers who need a different colour drum or a toner cartridge instead must select the matching product.

Questions about this item

How is the SuppliesMax C930X73MG drum unit installed, and what step do people often get wrong?

Open the printer front cover, remove the old magenta drum by pulling its handle straight out, unpack the new unit, gently rock it to distribute toner, then slide it firmly into the magenta slot until it clicks; the step often missed is removing the orange protective clip and sealing tape before insertion.

What maintenance or replacement will the C930X73MG magenta drum need later?

The drum unit itself is rated for 53000 pages at 5% coverage; after that yield the whole unit is replaced. Separate magenta toner cartridges are consumed independently and will need replacement during the drum's life.

What limit appears first under sustained high-volume printing with this drum?

The 53000-page rated life at 5% coverage is the primary limit; continuous heavy coverage will reach that yield sooner, while the 30-day manufacturer warranty period expires regardless of page count.
