What this cartridge fits

This SuppliesMax magenta toner replaces Dell 310-8399 and works in Dell 3110, 3110CN, 3115 and 3115CN colour laser printers. It is an aftermarket high-yield unit rated for 8000 pages at five percent coverage, suited to offices or home users who print colour documents regularly. The cartridge is new and built to match OEM specifications for reliable output.

Installation and common issues

Installation follows the standard Dell cartridge swap: open the front cover, pull the old magenta unit straight out, shake the new cartridge gently, remove the seal and slide it in until it clicks. The most frequent problem is forgetting to pull the sealing tape completely, which causes streaks or blank bands on the first few pages. If the printer does not recognise the chip, reseat the cartridge and power-cycle the device.

Check before ordering

Verify that your printer model is listed in the compatibility list — 3110, 3110CN, 3115 or 3115CN — and that you need the magenta high-yield version rather than the standard-yield or a different colour. Confirm the machine operates on 110 V power as the cartridge is designed for U.S.-market printers. Ensure you have a free toner slot and that the printer firmware has not been locked to OEM-only supplies.
