Ready for SP-C840DN and SP-C842DN

This SuppliesMax magenta toner cartridge replaces the Gestetner Corp 821257 and 821261 originals. It is built for offices that run high-volume colour jobs on the listed Gestetner laser printers and want a new, compatible supply that installs without extra steps.

Upgrade from standard-yield cartridges

The 34000 page yield at .05 coverage cuts replacement frequency compared with lower-capacity options. The jump is worth it when monthly colour output is heavy enough that swapping cartridges every few weeks slows the workflow down.

Fits 110 V US models built to ISO 9001

The cartridge is manufactured in certified facilities for 110 V printers sold in the U.S. Using it keeps the printer’s original warranty intact. It frees budget otherwise spent on OEM pricing while delivering the specified page count.

Questions about this item

Which Gestetner printer models accept the SP-C840A magenta cartridge?

The cartridge fits the Gestetner SP-C840DN and SP-C842DN colour laser printers listed in the compatibility table.

What is the correct way to install the cartridge so the printer recognises it immediately?

Power the printer on, open the front cover, pull the old magenta unit straight out, shake the new cartridge gently side-to-side five times, remove the orange sealing tape completely, then slide the new unit in until it clicks.

When will the magenta toner need replacing and what should be kept on hand?

Plan on a new magenta cartridge after roughly 34,000 pages at five-percent coverage; keep a spare SuppliesMAX 821257 unit ready for uninterrupted printing.
