Compatible magenta toner for Ricoh IM-C series

This SuppliesMax cartridge replaces Ricoh 842380 and fits the IM-C300, IM-300F, IM-C400F and IM-C400SRF printers. It is built for offices and home users who need reliable colour output without paying OEM prices. The cartridge is new and manufactured in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities. It installs easily in supported 110V machines sold in the U.S.

Thermal and power behaviour in normal use

As a toner cartridge it has no active cooling, fans or power draw of its own. Heat and noise come only from the printer during operation. The component is designed to meet OEM specifications so it does not add thermal load or acoustic noise beyond what the host device already produces. No electrical rating beyond the printer's 110V supply applies to the cartridge itself.

Build integration and what it frees up

The single magenta unit slots directly into the colour laser printer, leaving all other colour slots available for their respective cartridges. It yields up to 6000 pages at five percent coverage, reducing replacement frequency for high-volume printing. Buyers who need MICR toner or a multi-pack bundle will not find those options in this SKU. The part also cross-references Ricoh 842384, 842603 and Katun KAT58002 for inventory flexibility.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SuppliesMax 842380 magenta cartridge in my Ricoh IM-C300, and what step do people miss?

Open the front cover, pull the old cartridge straight out, shake the new one gently five times, remove the sealing tape completely, then slide it in until it clicks; the step most people skip is removing the full length of sealing tape before insertion.

What will need replacement after the SuppliesMax 842380 reaches its 6000-page yield at 5% coverage?

The cartridge itself is a single-use unit; once the toner is depleted you replace the whole 842380 magenta cartridge — no separate drum or developer unit is required for this model.

What limit appears first during long print runs with the SuppliesMax 842380 in a Ricoh IM-C400F?

The 6000-page yield at 5% coverage is the first limit; sustained high-coverage printing will exhaust the toner before any mechanical wear or fuser cycle limit is reached.
